Leigh Ann Thomas is a Missouri born portrait and wildlife artist. Although she has traveled extensively and lived in Malibu for a time, Leigh Ann has made her home here in the Ozarks. She is nestled around Table Rock Lake with her many pets, spectacular scenery and an abundance of wildlife. She paints from her surroundings. “My mind is constantly swirling with new possibilities.” Leigh Ann has a stylized realistic approach with a touch of whimsy. Her medium of choice is oil. The process for each piece takes 2-4 months alternating between 2-3 works at a time. Other creative pursuits include a line of greeting cards, songwriting, children’s books, and interior design.
